Yes, another week that went not as planned. Wednesday morning Anna woke up with a red, matted eye. I took her to the eye doctor to get more drops. (We usually have a supply on hand but were getting low.) The doctor really thought the infection was more related to a bacterial infection connected to her cough and congestion. He gave her some drops and they seemed to help. She was able to go back to school on Thursday.
Thursday morning I woke up with the illness from last week (stomach virus). It wasn't real bad but I definitely didn't feel well. By Friday morning around 12:30 a.m. it hit hard. I had a work trip to Little Rock on Friday that I had to make. So I medicated myself with Imodium and Zofran and prayed that God would get me to Little Rock and back safely. He did just that and I came home and went to bed! By today I'm feeling much better but still have the after affect feel.
Both kids still have coughs and runny noses. Maybe if the weather will stay in one season, instead of going from 80 degrees to snow and sleet, everyone can get healthy and stay healthy. It's crazy that on March 12th we had snow and sleet! We are ready for spring at our house!
God has blessed me with a wonderful family!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

So sorry to hear of more sickness! I hope everyone gets well soon. Maybe spring is on its way and that will help.
