Water Play

Ready for water play!

This week was the start of water play for Anna at DI. Her water play day is on Thursday. She had a great time and can't wait for Thursday of this week. She loves the water! We put up our swimming pool yesterday afternoon. She cannot wait for the water to warm up enough to swim.

Mason continues to tickle us daily. His favorite thing recently is to wear Anna's hot pink cowboy boots around the house. They look really great when he's only wearing a t-shirt and diaper! This afternoon he was wearing them while dancing to Anna's Hannah Montana CD. Kevin commented that they were going to need some male bonding time!
Riding horses.
Anna is so excited that her cousins, Holly and Lauren, are coming up from Texas this week to Mimi's house. They should be here later this afternoon. She can't wait to spend time with them.
This week is my last week of work. I was notified last Monday that I had two weeks left to work. It's a long story that ended in me being treated unfairly. But I firmly believe that God has a plan and everything will turn out okay. In the meantime, I'll get to spend some extra time with Anna before she starts Kindergarten in August. I have a feeling that we will be doing a lot of swimming!

I'm so glad to hear that Mason likes to wear girl's shoes, too! Nathan loves shoes of any kind but especially high heels! I guess that is part of having an older sister! I hope you have a good week at work. I'm sure that it will be difficult. You are now starting yet another chapter of your life. God works in mysterious ways. May your faith in Him continue to grow! Enjoy your time with Anna this summer. God will provide.

I'm sure that Mason looks very stylish in Anna's pink boots. We still tease Alec about dressing up in his sister's purple tutu when he was little. Ha! All I can say is - take lots of pictures!!!

I'm sorry about your job. That really stinks. Like Holly said - God works in mysterious ways! Keep looking UP... He will show you His plans for you. ;)
